Management of JSC “SFGCU” met with the local residents of Velyka Lepetykha regarding land lease issues

The management of JSC “State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine” and the director of the branch “Velykolepetysky Elevator” held a meeting with local residents of urban village Velyka Lepetykha (Kherson region) to discuss the lease of land which is part of the land bank of the corporation.

During the conversation with the shareholders, the issues of extending the validity of the existing land lease agreements were discussed. Local residents were informed about the increase in land rents. Thus, for 2021 in the amount of 4795 UAH per 1 (one) ha (including personal income tax, military duty) and since 01.01.2022 in the amount of 4969 UAH per 1 (one) ha (including personal income tax, military duty).

Due to the established anti-epidemic measures related to COVID-19 in force in Ukraine, the number of attending the meeting shareholders was limited. However, the parties discussed all problematic issues and possible ways to solve them.

“Maintaining a land bank based on the Velykolepetysky Elevator branch is of great importance to the corporation as every landlord who cooperates with us. Therefore, the Board of JSC «SFGCU» decided to increase the rental payments to the market level in the region”, – the Acting Deputy Chairman of the Board of the corporation Svitlana Samsonova mentioned.

As of today the sown areas of JSC “SFGCU” are concentrated on the branch of “Velykolepetysky Elevator” and amount to 4,8 thousand hectares, most of which are already sown with winter crops.
